Product

The GT4642 is a triple-pole double-throw (TPDT) high-speed analog switch designed to simplify the layout of differential signals. This chip is optimized specifically for switching between two MIPI devices, such as cameras or liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and on-board multimedia application processors.

The GT4642 features outstanding high-speed signal transmission performance. The device’s low-capacitance design is the core advantage enabling its high-speed transmission, with a typical on-state capacitance of only 7.0 pF—a characteristic that allows it to easily switch signals with frequencies exceeding 500 MHz. In terms of AC electrical characteristics, its typical -3 dB bandwidth reaches 2 GHz, which is wide enough to fully meet the interface requirements of processors in the mobile industry. Meanwhile, its excellent inter-channel crosstalk rejection capability minimizes interference to the greatest extent, enabling the transmission of high-speed differential and single-ended signals as specified by the MIPI standard.

The GT4642 boasts stable DC characteristics, with an on-resistance (Ron) of only 4 Ω, placing it at an excellent level among MIPI switches of the same type. The low on-resistance can significantly reduce energy loss of signals in switching channels, mitigate issues such as signal amplitude reduction and transmission delay caused by excessive resistance, and help maintain signal integrity. This allows differential signals to retain stable parameters even after long-distance on-board transmission, adapting to the signal transmission requirements in the compact wiring environment inside mobile devices.

The GT4642 is available in QFN3.4×2.5-24L and QFN3×3-24L packages, with an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
